To qualify for our best-price guarantee, the competitor’s rate must:
– Be publicly available within 24 hours prior to booking.
– Be quoted in the hotel’s local currency ($CAD), including fees and taxes. The rate must exclude any card fees and must not have been calculated using a currency converter.
– Apply to the same hotel, dates, room type (including the same number and size of beds), number of guests and inclusions.
– All details of the reservation must be visible on the competitor’s website.
– Be subject to the same booking and cancellation policies.
The following do not qualify for our best-price guarantee:
– Prices within a 3% variation of the total cost on the hotel’s site, due to exchange rate fluctuations.
– Rooms booked through unauthorized travel agents or bought through a resale site (for example, eBay), or promotional rates offered through a third party.
– Cancelled bookings.
– Special rates as part of a package.
– Special rates as part of a package.
– Rates quoted on websites that can’t confirm the booking and accept payments (for example, websites that link to a third party’s website).
– Specially contracted negotiated rates, such as travel agent, staff, corporate or membership rates, rates that are only available to subscribers or members of a website, or any other rate that is not available to the general public.
– Redemption-program bookings or bookings made using vouchers or coupons.
– Rates that the hotel is unable to verify using reasonable means.
– This Guarantee is subject to change or revocation at any time.
